La Sciere - Fresse

We were running a bit late that day after touring 2 beautiful cities, Strasbourg and Colmar.  We were still on the road at 5pm when it had become completely dark!  To make it worse, it had been raining and La Sciere situates on a mountain and layers of thick fog were covering all around.  French roads do not have lighting and Alan had been swearing and sighing until we reached the B&B at around 6pm!  We were finally there.  Our host Corinne had prepared us a traditional French dish, saucisse (sausage) avec lentil, which was a simple but nevertheless delicious food.  Alan liked the food here the most.  Corinne's husband is a computer expert and he turned on the wi-fi for us.  I had uploaded a picture on FB and Alan had of course got his lap top hooked up too.  Corinne has a beautiful old stone house, absolutely gorgeous.
